Position Summary

Scott Comfort Systems has immediate full-time positions available for HVAC Service Technicians to service residential and light commercial customers. We are looking for a career-minded people seeking a long-term career in the HVAC industry. You’ll have exciting opportunities to be a part of a small team of technicians while directly impacting company success.

Requirements:

• Valid North Carolina driver's license, and a dependable vehicle to get to work.
• Clean driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug testing.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification required. [ see notes below^* ]
• Must be able to lift between 50-100 pounds and climb a ladder without limitations.
• Must be able to work in crawlspaces and attics.
• Reliable. Must have an excellent attendance record.
• Willingness to work long hours, some weekends and share on-call duties.
• Must have service and installation experience or HVAC trade school certification.
• Must possess all necessary HVAC technician hand tools, meters, etc.

If you don't yet have your EPA Section 608 Technician Certification, we can help you get it.

We believe that you can never have too much education. So, if you've just completed trade school, we will help you get a good start with your HVAC career.

Some employers will simply throw new graduates into the field, and let them fend for themselves. Do or die. We don't do it that way. We will carefully train and mentor you until you are ready to go out on your own. This approach is better for you, and better for our customers.
